Weavers tool kit

In this new Winter offering, my Partner and I have curated an easeful, beautiful and portable entry into this sacred and ancient craft.

This kit includes a hand made Devon Oak frame loom, alongside a hand made Devon Oak weaving needle, both shaped by my partner in his moorland workshop. The size of the loom creates a cloth the perfect size for a small wall hanging, altar cloth or pouch.

Each set includes 2 balls of hand spun yarn, created from heritage Uk wool breeds and wild fibres. You have the option to choose between 'light', 'dark' or a mixture of tones. Each of the threads will be entirely bespoke and the materials I choose to work with will be dependant on the season and Inspiration present in my practise.

The loom comes warped using Shetland wool, with enough extra thread to last for a few more Weavings.

Everything fits into a small cotton drawstring craft bag, which can hold your projects as you journey with the wool and the thread…

I'm working on creating a simple 'how to' leaflet that can accompany the kit with details on how to warp and weave- but whilst I work on it I'm open to answering questions via email, and sending videos to help you connect to the making process.

Please note that as all components of this offering are made by hand from organic materials, the form and shapes of your kit will differ slightly from the images.

This loom can create a cloth that is approximately 16cm wide and 19cm long.

Whilst we work on a big project, all orders placed now will be made and sent out in December. I would recommend ordering now if you are wanting the kit in time for Christmas.
