Crafted by Jules from Dartmoor oak in his workshop at the edge of Dartmoor, this generous 33cm spindle allows longer lengths of thread to be spun with beauty and ease, inviting you to drop into the quiet meditation of craft.

Each kit comes with black Welsh Mountain and Icelandic woollen rovings, alongside naturally dyed madder root wool, dyed by Rose on Dartmoor. A length of linen thread is included to serve as a leader, as well as a simple cotton craft bag to hold your fibres, tools and work together.

There is a simple tutorial video available on our website, with gentle pointers for those approaching this spindle for the first time.
